Implants for single tooth replacement

Implants for Single Missing Tooth Replacement

Do you have a missing tooth?  A gap in your smile that others see and you are self-conscious about?  Have you

considered an implant to replace that missing tooth?  Once a CT scan, in our office, is taken to see if your bone quality is adequate for an implant then an implant can be placed.  There are three parts to replace a missing tooth.  There is the implant portion that is below the gumline, there is an abutment, which is the attachment between the implant and the implant crown.  Then finally there is the fake tooth or implant crown that attaches to the abutment.  When you are getting quotes for your implants be sure that they are quoting you all three parts and not just the implant.  Patients often think they are being quoted a cheaper price for an implant crown, however they ask: "What's an implant cost?"  That is what they are quoted. The question should be: "What is the total cost to replace a missing tooth with an implant and Implant Crown?"

There are 3 parts to a Single Tooth Replacement:

-Implant

-Abutment

-Implant Crown (tooth)
